I made this typeface for the song best friend based on the feelings felt while illustrating this song. I used to large sheets of paper and played the song on repeat and drew whatever I felt from the song. I then picked out the letter A from the illustrations and then created a typeface. I chose this method because I wanted to have the right balance of colour and emotions in the letterforms. I chose these set of colours because the song reminds me of festivals. So, I wanted to create that mood and wanted to use patterns and shapes to create this. I created a stop motion video as a type specimen and made a context image for that.
